At Banff National Park, you can explore the highest elevations and the underwater depths of the vast Canadian Rockies. For scuba diving in Banff National Park, head on over to Lake Minnewanka.

Lake Minnewanka is 1,450 mts. above sea level and 18 km. long with a maximum depth of 100 mts. Only cold water, altitude dives take place at Lake Minnewanka. Visibility fluctuates according to the time of year and the number of divers at the site. Depths vary according to the time of year, rising up to 5.5 mts. (18′) from spring to fall. Depths listed below were taken in October. There are 16 features located in three main diving areas.
