How the Animals are Affected by the Changing Environment in Banff

Parks Canada has recently, more than ever, started to take care of the comprehensive wildlife that abounds around its parks. They have implemented a thorough wildlife management plan and it maps moose and elk herds carefully. Among its many initiatives is the construction of massive highway overpasses, designed to blend with the surrounding vegetation, that allow animal’s easy passage over fenced roads. Animals, which are forced to cross busy roads to get back to their habitat, are too often the result of horrible accidents.
